We are hiring for the position of Painter/Finishing Tech. This individual will have 2+ years of painting experience who would like to take their career to the next level. The individual who fills this position will receive on-the-job training to refine basic prep skills and learn highest skilled finishing techniques.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work on job-sites and in our pre-finish shops to learn and perform basic prep tasks to mid-range and highest skilled tasks. These tasks include but are not limited to:
- Sanding
- Masking/unmasking
- Product application
- Tool loading/unloading/cleaning
- Maneuvering and packaging millwork
- Assist in maintaining a clean and professional work area at all times.
- Maintain strict attention to detail.
- Will work individually or in a group to provide highest level finishes.
- Assume responsibility for the quality of work performed.
- Assist to train lesser skilled team members as needed, adopting an inclusive leadership style.
- Exhibit excellent communication with supervisors and other team members.
- Accurately track time worked and materials used on each project.
- Share in the company’s values of quality, efficiency, safety, hard work and camaraderie.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- General working knowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment used in the painting trade
- 2+ years of professional painting experience
- Ability to interact and communicate in an effective and dependable manner
- Hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable personal transportation
- Documentation to work in the United States
- Capable of lifting and carrying 50+ lbs on a regular basis
- Capable of and prepared to maneuver and work from extension ladders
- Prepared to work 40+ hours/week

This individual will have 3+ years of professional painting experience working on new construction and existing residential sites, leadership experience, a willingness to learn, will emulate our company’s values, and have skills to provide training and guidance to other team members.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with others to perform full scope, high quality finishes; from basic prep tasks to mid-range and highest skilled tasks.
- Maintain a clean and professional work area at all times.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of the entire team by working together to understand and meet expectations.
- Demonstrate an inclusive leadership style.
- Maintain strict attention to detail.
- Ensure that all team members are performing their work safely and are in adherence to company safety policies.
- Will work individually or in a group to provide highest level finishes.
- Assist to train lesser skilled team members on a regular basis.
- Regular communication with the client, contractor, office, and others as business requires.
- Will work efficiently and adopt methods to streamline jobsite performance to enhance project profitability.
- Will monitor each crew member’s work hours, breaks, and attendance.
- Retain and secure all paperwork, receipts, etc. from job sites in the business office.

- Strongly developed brush and/or spray skills (with air-assist/airless sprayers and knowledge of painting tools and equipment.
- 3+ years of professional painting experience
- Leadership experience
- Hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable personal transportation
- Documentation to work in the United States
- Capable of lifting and carrying 50+ lbs on a regular basis
- Capable of and prepared to maneuver and work from extension ladders (up to 40′)
- Prepared to work 40+ hours/week
